Banswara to set up cotton plant

MUMBAI: Banswara Syntex Ltd has informed the Bombay Stock Exchange that its board had approved setting up of a cotton plant consisting of 13,000 spindles at Banswara.

The total project cost of the plant is Rs 12.45 crore, which will be part financed by a term loan of Rs 10 crore from IDBI Bank Ltd. Production of the new plant will begin during accounting year 2004-05.
