THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) will release on November 17 Excel prepaid connections to those who made the bookings on September 1 and 2.

Announcing this here, a spokesman said that more than 52,000 persons had booked on these two days. Their SIM cards can be collected from the booking centre or the distributor concerned by producing the original booking coupon and identity card.

In all, 2.2 lakh bookings were made through the week starting September 1. The SIM cards for the rest of the applicants will be released in phases during this and the coming months.

Recharge coupons in the `3+1 Festival Offer' have been made available at all BSNL sales counters as well as with distributors. Under this scheme, one coupon is given free when three recharge coupons are purchased at a time. The offer is valid only up to November15. These coupons are to be used before December 31.
