Our Bureau

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The security equipment division of Godrej & Boyce Manufacturing Co Ltd has introduced its `secure home' concept in Kerala.

Through the `secure home' initiative, the company hopes to create greater awareness about its security systems especially in the domestic segment of the market, said Mr Suresh Namboodiri, Head-Sales, Security Equipment Division, Godrej & Boyce Manufacturing Co Ltd. This initiative will focus on the company's portfolio of home security products such as video door phones, alarm systems, security doors for the home, fire-resistant safes and so on, he added.

The company is also working out plans to create greater awareness about its range of home furniture, said Mr G. Venu Gopal, Senior Manager, Furniture and Interiors Group, Godrej & Boyce Manufacturing Co Ltd. It has already set up exclusive retail outlets that focus on selling its range of home furniture, he said. These outlets showcase the company's `prefect home' concept and are already present in several towns in Kerala. In the next few months, the company will open one such showroom in Kollam and Kottayam respectively, he added.
