School children with Bollywood's `alien' Jadoo and Ronald McDonald in Mumbai at the launch of McDonald's `World Children's Week'. Customers can `Pick a Pencil' for Rs 5 at McDonald's restaurants in Mumbai, Pune and Gujarat. The pencil has been used as a symbol of education and carries the message, `I gave a helping hand'. McDonald's hopes to raise Rs 5 lakh through the sale of the pencils, the proceeds of which will be used for girls' schools in Mumbai and Pune.
