Bush's comeback

This is with reference to the editorial Bush is back (Business Line, November 5). By winning the Presidential elections for the second consecutive time, Mr Bush is back at the helm of affairs once again with a bang. That he has managed to win comfortably against Senator John Kerry, despite palpable dissatisfaction across the globe against him hardly matters, since the people of America have reposed faith in him.

For the rest of the world, it is going to be a different ball game. They have to concede to whatever Mr Bush decides from now on, or else face the consequences simply because of the fact that America, always calls the shots.
