Politics Commonwealth panel meet Our Bureau
HYDERABAD: The first meeting of India and Asian Regional Commonwealth Parliamentary Association would be held here beginning November 17. Mr K. Suresh Reddy, Speaker of Andhra Pradesh Assembly, held a high-level meeting here on Monday to review the arrangements for the upcoming six-day meeting. Mr Reddy had asked the Chief Secretary, Mr Mohan Kanda, to direct the officials concerned to ensure smooth conduct of the meeting. The Speaker directed Mr Sukumara, Director-General of Police, to provide security to the delegates at the hotels and venue of the conference. The Tourism Department had been asked to conduct special light and sound shows at Golconda and cultural programmes at Shilparamam.
