Workshop on power to farms

HYDERABAD: The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI), in collaboration with the Ministry of Power, is organising a one-day national workshop on the issue of power supply to agriculture here on Wednesday.

The workshop will focus on the appropriate mechanisms for subsidising electricity supply to farmers, defining efficient delivery mechanisms and policy and regulatory issues that arise in these areas, a press release said.
