`Shoot-at-site' rates up

Rahul Bose and Sameera Reddy sitting on a hand-pulled rickshaw on the sets of director Buddhadeb Dasgupta's new film `Kaalpurush' in Kolkata. Cinematic sites in the city are raising the rate card as filmmakers from the south and west focus more and more on Kolkata. Howrah and Sealdah stations will cost Rs 10,000 per day and shooting on the Vidyasagar Setu (2nd Hooghly Bridge) will cost Rs 10,000 for the first two hours and Rs 5,000 for every subsequent hour. The Metro Rail station will charge Rs 10,000 per day and a security deposit of Rs 5 lakh.
