Lucent picks HSS as partner

NEW DELHI: Hughes Software Systems has announced that it has been selected by Lucent Technologies to deploy the HSS Mediation Systems for the Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) network of HOT Telecom, a telecom service provider in Israel.

HOT Telecom is currently in the process of providing VoIP services over its cable network in Israel and would use the HSS Mediation System to enable billing for this service, a company release said.
