SEBI cancels HSE broker's licence

THE Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) has passed an order dated October 28 cancelling the certificate of registration granted to Kodali Securities Pvt Ltd, a member of the Hyderabad Stock Exchange (HSE), with effect from November 18.

In an announcement, the market regulator said the order was passed against Kodali Securities for non-maintenance of books of accounts and non-production of the same before the inspecting authorities, non-cooperation with the inspecting authorities, furnishing of false and misleading information to SEBI to avoid inspection.
