MANGALORE: The Dakshina Kannada District Co-operative Union Ltd will observe "Co-operative Week" in the district from November 14 to 20.

The President of the union, Mr P.B. Divakara Rai, told presspersons here on Wednesday that the Mangalore MP, Mr Sadananda Gowda, would inaugurate the celebrations at Uppinangady on November 14. The President of the South Canara District Central Cooperative Bank Ltd, Mr M.N. Rajendra Kumar, will preside over the function.

There will be seminars on various aspects of cooperative movement during the period, he added.
