Dhanalakshmi Bank expansion plan in AP

VISAKHAPATNAM: Dhanalakshmi Bank is expanding its branch network in Andhra Pradesh. During the past six months, four branches (including the one in Vizag) have been opened and seven more will be set up by the end of the financial year.

This was stated by Mr T.R. Madhavan, Managing Director, on the occasion of the opening of the branch here.

He said that two branches have been set up in Hyderabad and one at Guntur. With the setting up of Vizag branch, the number of branches in the State has gone up to six.

Branches would be set up at Nellore, Tirupati, Vijayawada (Ring Road), Kakinada, Eluru, Khammam and Nizamabad. ATMs would be provided at the branches. Six extension counters and several offshore ATMs would also be set up, he said.

With the Vizag branch, inaugurated by the Municipal Commissioner, Mr N. Srikanth, the total number of branches had gone up to 169, he added.
