Our Correspondent

MADURAI: Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd (BHEL) has secured an order from Reliance Industries.

Valued at Rs 190 crore, the order involves supply of three gas turbine generator sets — two for the Hazira Petrochemical Project and one for the Jamnagar Refinery, both in Gujarat.

To be supplied under a time schedule of 9,11 and 13 months, the sets are to augment the captive power generating capacities of the respective plants, according to a BHEL release.
