Madurai SHGs fare well

MADURAI: The Madurai Women Self-Help Group members excelled in the sale of handicrafts at the `Kolu exhibition' organised at Chennai between October 11 and 24 in connection with the Navarathri celebrations, selling products worth Rs 3.22 lakh.

Represented by Ms K. Kasthuri of Ezhil SHG and Ms T.P. Selvarani of Thulasi SHG, the group secured the second place in sales among the various SHGs in the State, according to a communication.
