Windows-enabled mobile from E-charge

E-CHARGE, a subsidiary of the Mercantile Pacific Group of Australia, on Monday unveiled the smallest Microsoft Windows-enabled mobile device and announced its plans to invest between Rs 50 crore and Rs 60 crore in India over the next one year.

"Christened as the KROME Intellect IQ 700, the device aims at providing the business consumer with integrated wireless access solutions on their mobile phones. Priced at Rs 26,999, the IQ 700 offers a bouquet of Microsoft Windows features on the KROME device," a company release said here.

The company also announced plans to invest Rs 50 crore - Rs 60 crore in India over the next 12 months to market its high-end handsets.
