Co-op day celebrations in Mangalore

MANGALORE: The Dakshina Kannada Cooperative Milk Producers' Union, in association with the Karnataka State Cooperative Federation and Dakshina Kannada Cooperative Union, will celebrate the 51st Cooperative Week by launching 100 gm and 50 gm packets of `Nandini ghee' and one-litre packets of homogenised milk.

A press release by the milk producers' union said here on Tuesday that Dr B.S. Gangadhar, Managing Director of Karnataka Milk Federation, Bangalore, would release these products in Mangalore on November 18.

Mr K.K. Pai, Registrar of Manipal Academy of General Education, will inaugurate `Cooperative marketing and consumers' day' on the occasion, the release added.
