Apollo Hospitals net up

CHENNAI: Apollo Hospitals recorded a profit after tax of Rs 15.2 crore (Rs 10.5 crore) in the second quarter of 2004-05, higher by 44.76 per cent in relation to the corresponding period of the previous year.

The company's total income in the second quarter was Rs 154.8 crore (Rs 126.5 crore).

For the first half of 2004-05, Apollo's profit after tax was Rs 25.7 crore (Rs 18.3 crore) on an income of Rs 289.6 crore (Rs 240.7 crore).
