Sunil Goyal on IFAC board

THE President of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), Mr Sunil Goyal, has been appointed to the Board of the International Federation of Accountants (IFAC).

According to an official communiqué, the appointment of Mr Goyal to the Board took place at the recently concluded meeting of the IFAC council held at Paris. The IFAC Board comprises of 24 members elected from amongst the member organisations. This is the third time in the IFAC history that India has been elected to join the board.

Mr Goyal was earlier a member of the Small and Medium Practitioners Task Force of IFAC.
