L.N. Revathy

Coimbatore , Nov. 22

COFFEE powder prices have been hiked again. The earlier revision was done in September.

The rate of pure coffee powder has gone up to Rs 150 a kg from Rs 145.

This is the third upward revision in the price of coffee powder in the last one year. The new rates are effective from Monday. Trade sources are hoping the prices to remain at this level for some time. An industry spokesperson told Business Line that the trade would be reviewing the situation in February.

There has been a gradual increase in the price of pure coffee powder from a level of Rs 130 a kg witnessed in January.
