Rubber rates steady

THE domestic spot rubber rates remained unchanged on Tuesday. The buyers were not interested to enlarge their commitments in a falling market.

The announcement regarding export subsidy has not helped the market to improve; on the other hand prices are going down.

Rubber futures turned weak with December delivery at Rs 52.07 (Rs 52.46) a kg ;January delivery at Rs 53.17 (Rs 53.60); February at Rs 53.70 (Rs 54.26) and March at Rs 54.20 (Rs 54.67) for RSS 4.

Spot market rates per kg on Tuesday wereRSS 4 Rs 51.25 (Rs 51.25); RSS 5 Rs 49.50 (Rs 49.50); ungraded Rs 47.50 (Rs 47.50); ISNR 20 Rs 50 (Rs 50); and latex 60% Rs 38 (Rs 38).
