Radhakrishna Foodland to bring in global retail brand SPAR

Mumbai , Nov. 23

RADHAKRISHNA Foodland Pvt Ltd, a food distribution company, has obtained a licence from an international food retail brand, SPAR, to introduce it in India.

"This association will allow small independent retailers to have access to modern retail solutions, marketing and merchandising assistance, store refurbishment, staff, process and systems training, point of sale (POS) development and implementation and most importantly, sourcing most of their products from a single distribution platform with all the supply chain efficiencies," a press release said.

India's first SPAR store will be opened in December 2004 at Juhu in Mumbai.
