Ad Fest at Munnar

KERALA Ad Fest 2004 will be held in Munnar from November 27 to 29 under the auspices of Kerala Advertising Agencies Association.

The arrangements for the conduct of this event have been completed, said Mr Joseph Chavara, State President and Dr. J.B. Mohan, Convener. The event is the first of its kind in Kerala, claimed the sponsors.

Cine star Kamal Hassan would inaugurate the programme on November 27. Mr Jacob Mathew, Executive Editor, Malayala Manorama would deliver the keynote address. Mr M.V. Shreyams Kumar, Director Marketing and Electronic Media , Mathrubhumi, and Mr K. Madhavan, Managing Director, Asianet, will attend the function.

Mr P.R.P. Nair, Senior Media Adviser, Media Direction India, will make his presentation on `Media planning and media buying'. Mr Bharat Kapadia, Chairman, Project Press Committee, Indian Newspaper Society, will talk on `Impact multiplier theory'. A lecture on `Effect of impact multiplier on Kerala' will be delivered by Mr Sasikumar, Director, Asian School of Journalism.

Dance performance by Dr Neena Prasad and other items of cultural events will be an added attraction to this colourful meet.

INS Regional Chairman, Mr Jose Pattara will be the chief guest at the concluding session. Among others, Mr Venkatesh Natarajan, Regional Manager - Advertising, The Hindu, Kochi, will participate in the event co-sponsored by The Hindu, Malayala Manorama, Mathrubhumi, Deshabhimani, Mangalam, Kairali, Asianet, Madhyamam and Mahilaratnam.
