Software Low-cost teaching tool Our Bureau
BANGALORE: Wipro and Intel have jointly launched the i-shiksha, a low-cost solution and technology to meet the needs of education segment in India. The i-shiksha is a network of computers that enhances teaching and learning experience with latest sophisticated tools to assist educators in accomplishing their instructive goals, said a Wipro press release. The i-shiksha is extensively validated, integrated and end-to-end solution with hardware and software building blocks, design support and system-level products such as servers, hubs and switches, the release said. The solution is pre-loaded with MILS (Multimedia Interactive Learning Software) teaching, learning and assessment software that enriches the learning experience in an interactive learning classroom environment. The software has features such as screen broadcasting, video/audio broadcast and interactive communication that enhance both teaching and learning, the release said. i-shiksha helps education institutes shorten their development time and offers a high-performance, robust and low maintenance technology solution for the classroom.
