Security AP Governor calls for outsourcing of security services Our Bureau
Hyderabad , Nov. 23 THE State Governor, Mr Sushil Kumar Shinde, on Tuesday said there is a need to consider outsourcing security services as there is increasing pressure on the police and law enforcing establishment in the country to ensure peace and safety. Addressing the annual seminar on Professional Excellence Through Continued Training and Education organised by the International Institute of Security and Safety Management (IISSM) here today, Mr Shinde said, "Lately, loss prevention has become much more scientific. An abundance of impressive and sophisticated modern security gadgetries now exist to assist security professionals in their task of loss prevention and loss limiting exercise." "In today's fluid national and international situation and growing security concerns across the world, there is no dearth of opportunities for a security organisation. New technologies and innovative applications of scientific security management principles will help grow security organisations calling for increased specialisation and professionalism," he observed. The objective of the event is to promote professionalism in the security industry by way of providing world class training to security and safety professionals as well as others related to security based functions. The IISSM functions as a catalyst to bring professionals together for pooling of their experiences and knowledge.
