Iran-India gas pipeline

The $4-billion Iran-India pipeline, which will pass through Pakistan, will bind India and Pakistan towards more co-operations in economic and cultural activities. As rightly pointed out by the Pakistan Foreign Secretary, Mr Riyaz Khokkar, the pipeline passing through Pakistan would be "a major confidence building measure (CBM) not just for the two countries but for the whole region."

Hopefully, the pipeline will tie the knots of friendship between the neighbours and bring peace to the sub-continent.
