BANGALORE: Bosch Security Systems, part of Robert Bosch GmbH on Wednesday said it has launched networked video solutions, a video surveillance system that allows remote monitoring over IP networks. A press statement from Bosch said the system is based on the latest compression technology. It enables efficient transmission of live video and associated audio data over existing networks. The business head in India of Bosch Security Systems, Mr Dhiraj Bali, said these systems are ideally suited to organisations, which are large and geographically spread out. They include the banking industry, supermarkets, railway stations, airports, petrochemicals, refineries and industrial complexes. Bosch Security has supplied its CCTV systems to projects such as the Delhi Metro Rail as well as a number of domestic airports, atomic power plants and police stations.
