CCEA clears cancer programme

NEW DELHI: The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs (CCEA) granted approval for implementation of the National Cancer Control Programme (NCCP) at an outlay of Rs 266 crore during the Tenth Five Year Plan.

This will result in better awareness for prevention and early detection of cancer as well as enhanced availability of cancer treatment.
