Financial Performance Corporate Results - Software Cranes Software Q2 net up 55 pc Our Bureau
BANGALORE: Cranes Software International Ltd, a global scientific and engineering software solutions provider, reported its second quarter-ended September 30 results with a 55 per cent jump in net profit at Rs 8.2 crore compared with Rs 5.3 crore for the corresponding period last year. Revenues showed an 87-per cent increase at Rs 36.3 crore (Rs 19.4 crore). On a stand-alone basis, Crane Software reflected a 56-per cent jump in revenues at Rs 27.1 crore (Rs 17.4 crore); net profits improved to Rs 8.2 crore (Rs 5.6 crore), a 46.4-per cent growth. For the half-year ended September 30, 2004, it recorded revenues of Rs 72.4 crore (Rs 32.9 crore) and net profit of Rs 17.9 crore (Rs 8.9 crore).
