Kerala MPs' plea to Telecom Dept

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Members of Parliament from the State have urged telecom authorities to take concerted action to clear the waiting list for telephone connections in Kerala Circle.

A spokesman said the MPs raised this demand after attending a presentation on operational, financial and developmental activities of the Kerala Telecom Circle by the Chief General Manager, Mr S.A. Thomas, here on Saturday. The MPs also demanded that coverage of cellular mobile phones be improved and billing complaints redressed. The Circle General Manager promised to take immediate action on these issues.
