Mukesh allays fears of investors

Vinod Mathew

Mumbai , Nov. 29

MR Mukesh Ambani, Chairman and Managing Director of Reliance Industries, today said the recent loss of market cap of the Reliance group companies was an aberration, something that was not expected to last for long.

"The underlying fundamentals of Reliance are very strong and it is well on its way to being a global leader in several sectors. Reliance is irrevocably committed to safeguard and promote the interests of millions of our shareholders and they know that the recent market cap loss is fully recoverable," Mr Ambani told Business Line.

Mr Ambani refused comment on any other issues pertaining to the ongoing controversy.
