KEC bags Rs 295-cr orders

MUMBAI: KEC International Ltd, a major player in the power transmission, engineering and construction business, has bagged new orders worth Rs 295 crore both in the international and domestic markets.

In the international market, KEC has been awarded the Rs. 120-crore order in Abu Dhabi by the Abu Dhabi Water and Electricity Authority for supply and installation of 94 km long 220 KV double-circuit overhead lines. In the domestic sector, the company bagged a Rs. 175-crore order from Power Grid Corporation of India.

The company's present order book position stands at Rs. 2,600 crore, a company press release said.
