Corpn Bank hikes NRE deposit rates

CORPORATION Bank has hiked interest rates on NRE deposits with effect from December 1.

A bank release said here on Thursday that the interest rate for tenures of one year to less than two years is 3.50 per cent per annum (3 per cent), two years to less than three years 3.90 per cent (3.50 per cent), and three years to 10 years 4.20 per cent (3.80 per cent).

The above rates are applicable to new and renewal of NRE term deposits.

There is no change in the interest rate on NRE savings bank deposits, the release added.
