New Products & Services Enfield launches new Bullet 500 Our Bureau
Chennai , Dec. 2 ROYAL Enfield, an Eicher group company, has launched a new Bullet 500 with electric start for the domestic market. According to the company's Chief Executive Officer, Mr Ramesh C. Maheshwari, the Bullet 500 is aimed at the riding enthusiast. While offering the traditional Bullet feel, the machine comes with upgraded features including disc brake, gas-filled shock absorbers and a completely new driveline. The electrical system has also been upgraded with a heavy-duty alternator. These are now more in line with the requirements for a higher-powered bike. It comes with the conventional four-speed gearbox, and is priced at Rs 85,694. For the younger generation the 500-cc Thunderbird is in the pipeline, and is likely to be launched in two months, he said.
