THE Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) is organising a career fair on December 17 and 18 in Hyderabad. The CII Career Fair will serve as a platform for the education sector to promote educational courses and opportunities for students.
According to a CII press release here, the fair aims to motivate students to keep their options open and understand their preferences.
The objective of the event will be to provide guidance to students in career planning and decision-making, create awareness about non-mainstream careers and widen their horizons in scouting for better opportunities.
A panel discussion on industry-institute interaction will be part of the conference to bridge the gap between the orientation of institutions and the expectations of the industry.
The conference will also showcase some of the best young managerial talent in a single forum available for employment in the corporate world. Career Fair 2004 will include a one-day conference and a two-day exhibition, the release said.
