Two-day foundry conclave to be held in Coimbatore

FOUNDRY Conclave 2004, an event organised by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), Coimbatore zone is to be held on December 9 and 10. More than 100 leading players from across the country are expected to congregate during this two-day event, when both threats and opportunities, and the urgent need for repositioning this sector would be discussed and debated upon.

According to a CII release, this event, the second in the series, is aimed at dissemination of information on the latest trends and technologies, of sharing information on best manufacturing practices and above all in formulating strategies for making this sector globally competitive.

Key speakers who are to participate in the deliberations include Dr Michele Ingegnoli, Impianti Macchine Fonderia, Italy, Mr Flemming Juel Jensen, Disa Industries A/S, Denmark, Mr Jan Franke, Managing Director, Magma Engineering Asia Pacific (P) Ltd, Singapore among others.
