A Russian tourist undergoes `sirodhara' as part of the `panchakarma' treatment in Kovalam. Though this treatment has been a big draw among foreigners visiting the State in November, a novel feature of this season is the large influx of Russians seeking ayurveda treatment, which used to be patronised mostly by German, Swiss and French tourists.
