Our Bureau

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Employees of the Kerala State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) will get one instalment of a dear allowance of five per cent along with their salary for January 2005.

An official spokesman said here that the Transport Minister, Mr N. Sakthan, had issued orders in this regard on Monday. The employees would also be given a shoe allowance and uniform and stitching allowances.

With this, the Government will have sanctioned all the benefits that it had promised during talks held with representatives of recognised unions of KSRTC on September 21 this year.
