Aarohi launches programme for service providers

Bangalore , Dec. 7

AAROHI Communications has launched its FabricStream Developer Partner Programme for software service providers in India.

The programme would provide Indian service companies the required tools and training to tap the $7-billion storage software market through services and products.

Aarohi has already invested $30 million in developing FabricStream intelligent storage processor and software.

Having closed venture capital investments of $36 million in three rounds of funding ever since inception in 2001, the company expects to receive its fourth round of funding. According to officials, Aarohi expects to garner $15 million in such funds early next year.

"We have invested $10 million over the last three years and expect to double this investment over the coming three years. The next-generation chip that will be launched next year has been developed at the Indian facility and this reflects the importance of the Indian centre which is working on more than providing support services," said Mr Ameesh Divatia, CEO, Aarohi.
