Cosmic Air plans flights to Indian cities from Kathmandu

NEPALESE airlines Cosmic Air plans to introduce flights to a number of Indian cities from Kathmandu as part of its strategy to earn 50 per cent of its revenues from Indian operations.

As part of its expansion drive, the airline has already connected Delhi with Kathmandu and is planning to add flights to Mumbai, Bangalore, Lucknow, Varanasi and Bodh Gaya by early next year, the SOI Executive Chairman, Mr R.P. Pradhan, told a news conference here.

Cosmic Air is a subsidiary of the SOI Group, a conglomerate with interest in tourism, aviation, telecommunications, banking and manufacturing, among others.
