HYDERABAD: Ocimum Biosolutions, a provider of bioinformatics solutions and laboratory information management systems (LIMS), announced that it has formed a strategic alliance with Genome Explorations Inc of the US.

As part of this alliance, according to a company release on Thursday, Ocimum will take care of Genome clients from India who want to get their micro array profiling done for their gene expression studies.

Initially, Ocimum will send these samples to Genome's facility at Memphis, US. At a later stage, Genome may set up a micro array profiling facility in India in collaboration with Ocimum. Financial details of the partnership have not been disclosed.
