eMR Tech looks to double team size

L.N. Revathy

Coimbatore , Dec. 9

THE Gurgaon-based eMR Technology Ventures (P) Ltd is planning to double its team size to 1,400 by next year.

Speaking about the company's plans, its Chairman Mr Rohit Arora told Business Line that eMR Technology Ventures would not just stop with doubling the number on its roll, but would double the revenue as well. "We are confident of doing $13-15 million next year," he said.

eMR Technology is a business process outsourcing company in insurance and healthcare space.

The company, which has been servicing the US market till now is contemplating to foray into Europe as well.

Mr Rohit ruled out expansion of office to alternate locations. "At present, we have adequate capacity to engage 1,500 people. We will take a decision on expanding our base to other locations only after 6 months."

To a query on availability of manpower, he said the issue did not arise since eMR was not in the voice space.

"Only BPOs in the voice space face this challenge. For us, it is in customer acquisition and there too we are comfortable as we have a fairly long sales cycle."
