THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Placement activities at the Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC) have received a boost with more than 100 IBM Mainframe students being recruited within a space of two weeks during campus interviews.

Among the leading national and multinational companies that were present on the campus are Satyam Computers, Patni Computer Systems, HSBC Software Development (India), CGI, HCL Technologies, IBM Global Services, iGate Global Solutions and US Software.

According to Mr G.L. Sreekanth, Joint Director, C-DAC, there is heavy demand for students trained on Embedded Systems and Dot Net Technologies.
