Credit Cards & Debit Cards HDFC Bank launches global debit card Our Bureau

Mumbai , Dec. 9 HDFC Bank has launched an international gold debit card for its high networth customers. The international gold debit card offer a host of benefits, including a cash back facility, comprehensive insurance covers and zero surcharge at petrol pumps. "This product is first of its kind in the Indian market. While product segmentation is available in the credit card side, in the debit card side there hasn't been any segmentation. The gold card will cater to the segment of our customers who have been awaiting such a product," said Mr Neeraj Swaroop, Country Head, Retail Banking, HDFC Bank, addressing a press conference here today. With the HDFC Bank gold debit card, customers will receive a credit of Re 1 for every Rs 100 spent.
The annual fee per card is Rs 500 a year.
