Supply Chain Management CII Institute of Logistics offers courses in supply chain management Our Bureau
Chennai , Dec. 14 CII Institute of Logistics will offer a distance learning diploma and post-graduate diploma courses in supply chain management (SCM). The diploma course will be a two-semester course and the post-graduate diploma will be a four-semester course. The programme is to develop graduates who intend to assume leadership positions in SCM and manufacturing and service operations management, and contribute to the competitiveness of firms operating in the global, dynamic, 21st century marketplace. The programme is suited for supervisors, junior level executives and middle level manager. The first batch of the diploma and PG diploma courses will commence from January 2005, says a CII press release. The CII Institute of Logistics, along with Indian Institute of Materials Management, is launching this distance-learning programme. This is a 4-semester programme, and can be completed in two years, according to the release.
