58 cos registered in Kerala last month

KOCHI: As many as 58 companies, including four big size companies, were registered in in the State last month. Of these, 56 are in the private sector and two are in the public sector.

The total authorised capital of the private companies is Rs 700.5 lakh and that of the public companies is Rs 1,035 lakh.

As many as 30 cases were filed against companies and directors for violation of various provisions of the Companies Act and Rs 95,500 was imposed as fine. One company went into liquidation and two companies changed their name during the period.
