"Nasscom 2005 is expected to provide a platform to international CIOs from countries that are important markets and potential partners for the Indian IT industry, to share best practices with Indian vendors," said Nasscom President Mr Kiran Karnik, in a statement.

"The conference will also provide a perspective on innovation and new technological developments across the globe and ways to maximise business impact of outsourcing."

Nasscom 2005 will have focused tracks on IT usage by banking, financial services and insurance firms, the telecom sector, and the Government, apart from sessions on the global economic landscape, globalisation strategies, best practices for outsourcing deals, evolving contours of global delivery model, mergers and acquisitions in the IT sector, opportunities for innovation in India and IT consulting.

It will provide Indian IT companies an opportunity to explore business beyond traditional geographies, the statement added.

Additionally, it will have over 100 speakers addressing over 30 sessions spread across three days of the conference.
