The new 30,000-square feet BPO facility can house around 700 people, and the company spent a couple of crores of rupees on the interior design. The SBS also expanded its presence in Mumbai by setting up a 50-seat facility in Navi Mumbai, and the centre would be a business continuity site, said Mr P.S. Raghavan, Executive Director, SBS.

SBS plans to employ around 600 by mid-2005 from the present 400, and is targeting revenues of Rs 12 crore for the fiscal ending March 2005 against Rs 8 crore last fiscal, he told reporters.

During the current financial year, SFL will contribute around 50 per cent of SBS's revenues, and the remaining 50 per cent will come from other clients.
