IT Training Cyber forensics courses Our Bureau
THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC), Thiruvananthapuram, has notified the commencement of advanced courses in cyber forensics from January. The C-DAC Resource Centre in Cyber Forensics is the first institution in the country to develop and commercially launch cyber forensics tools for investigators and analysts. The C-DAC course will be handled by experts in the field credited with having conducted training programmes for law enforcement agencies across the country. C-DAC plans to run a one-year full-time post-graduate diploma course in cyber forensics and a concurrent six-month certificate course as well. It will cover computer fundamentals with stress on data storage devices, cyber laws, networks, encryption technology and steganography, computer forensics and network forensics with extensive practical work. Lawyers, forensics scientists, forensics graduates, police officers and those interested in working as cyber forensics consultants for corporate houses are eligible to apply.
