Announcements Variety - Entertainment & Leisure Snow World develops indoor Go Karting track Our Bureau
Hyderabad , Dec. 19 OCEAN Park Multitech Ltd, a Hyderabad-based entertainment company, which manages the innovative Snow Theme Park has announced the launch of a new facility that provides for indoor Go Karting, which the company claimed would be one of the largest in Asia spread over a 40,000 sq ft area. Addressing a press conference here on Sunday, the Managing Director of Snow World, Mr Venkateswara Rao, said `Kart Cave,' an indoor Go Karting track, which is a favourite pass time for many visitors to the US is now in the neighbourhood. Those fond of motor sports and keen to experience the thrill can enjoy the nice tracks created at the Snow World. Designed and executed by the architect, Mr Nilesh Roy, this facility is supported by one of the largest indoor dance floor, where a corporate can also book and host events. Launched to coincide with the Christmas celebrations, the new facility will host musician David Pascall along with Western Bank to be anchored by D.J. Harish and D.J. Chin. While the new theme park is to be inaugurated sometime in January, the company has decided to line up a slew of entertainment options cashing in on Christmas and the New Year eve celebrations. Kids would be treated to gifts from Santa Claus and there are gifts for best dancing couple. The company has invested about Rs 2.5 crore where over 300 workers were engaged for one year to complete the thematic indoor Go Karting arena. While the rock effects treat the visitor to a new experience, the indoor replicates a cave uniquely designed using `plaster of Paris.'
