Pizza Hut at Vizag

VISAKHAPATNAM: Pizza Hut is planning to set up a hundred restaurants in the country by the year-end and currently it has 93, according to Ms Aparna Chopra, senior brand manager.

She was speaking to reporters here on Saturday after opening the first restaurant of Pizza Hut here on Saturday.

She said 10 vegetarian pizzas and 10 non-vegetarian ones would be available in the restaurant. She said it was, "an international brand with an Indian heart. We are trying to imbue it with an Indian flavour."

She said Pizza Hut had its presence currently in 24 cities. She said Pizza Hut was sourcing all its raw materials from within the country. "Our policy of vendor empowerment is producing rich dividends. We are introducing select suppliers to valuable technological inputs in the flour industry, dairy and other ancillary industries," she added.
